About this item

  • The Mini Tube is much better than a larger tube due to our being able to use it all up prior to it turning into a tube of hard rubber.
  • Tough – 2x stronger and 60x more flex than polyurethane
  • Non-flammable once cured, temperature resistant – unaffected by extreme heat or cold once cured
  • Chemical resistant – safe for applications exposed to dilute acids and dilute caustics
  • Waterproof – can be submerged in fresh and salt water after complete cure
  • Paintable – paint to match surrounding area to make uv-resistant, flexible – excellent for bonding items subject to vibration
  • Industrial strength, non-flammable adhesive that provides versatility not found in silicones and rubber cements
  • Safe for applications exposed to dilute acids and dilute caustics
  • Maintains a flexible bond in cold temperatures and may be used to bond items subject to vibration
  • Exceptional adhesion to wood, metal, glass, fiberglass, ceramics, masonry and concrete.
  • To remove glass from what you attached it to simply place the art into your freezer for about half an hour then pop it apart using a thin tool such as a palette knife or putty knife.

Use in a well ventilated area and allow to dry for 24 hours in the well ventilated area.  E6000 is known for affecting our Neurological system, but if we work with it and allow it to dry in the right environment, then we will be safe.

  • Also used for making fused glass props.

For fused glass:

I flatten about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch depending on the size of the fused art I desire to attach it to.

I rough up the glass area that is to have the tube connected to and I rough up the brass that is to be glued.

I then glue using E6000.  If you buy small tubes of E6000 that is the best.  The glue usually gets used up prior to turning into a tube of hard rubber.

Apply the glue to the roughed up glass area then rest the flattened/roughed up area of the tub onto the glass.  Let it dry in a well ventilated area - not in your home due to not wanting to breath the fumes while it dry's.  Be sure to allow 24 hours for drying time.  I use prop up things to keep the tube where I want it on the glass.  Wadded up aluminum foil works well..
