I have reworked the shipping area of my website..
Plus I am working on the sizing of our sheet glass that is Coe 96 offerings.
I want to thank many of you have shopped with me in the past with confidence that we do give refunds for the system overcharging for the shipping.
It is always such a pleasure to see reviews that fellow glassy’s have created sharing their happiness of the items chosen, our quick and quality service and our honesty in refunding of excess shipping not needed.
The website shipping system charges me a % on the extra dollars but does not refund it to me when I create the refunds.
I am sure also that it looks rather alarming when the system charges a lot for shipping due to items chosen coming from different shipping categories even though most of the time it all will fit into one box.
To allow for the purchase to be more accurate on shipping I have decided the following:
I am going with a new more accurate way of assessing shipping for the items ordered.
• When an order is placed I will review the items that were chosen.
• I will puzzle what size of box is needed for the chosen items.
• I will take into account the weight, distance and insurance required.
• I will then send an actual shipping cost invoice for the items that were chosen.
• Once the actual shipping invoice is paid then the order is filled and sent.
This is going to give an accurate pricing for shipping of each order.
It is my hopes that all will find this to be a better way for the ordering of needed items for fun art times ahead.
Another thing to keep in mind:
USPS will be raising their rates the first week of October and have them at the higher rate until 12/26/2021
I may end up moving away from USPS to have better pricing than what they are going to offer. So things just may change a bit during the higher pricing times... xo
