Crystal Opal is white for sure, but when we hold a sheet glass of Crystal Opal in front of a light it has a beautiful glow of amber shining through it. So this Crystal Opal is terrific for adding into a project that will have light coming through it; such as a night light or a table light that we are fusing. In the Stained Glass sheets of glass they call it Firelight White and boy does that name reign true.

If you do art glass and use firelight white, well then you know because they are essentially the same thing.
